In this session, Holley shares her story with anxiety and the difference between biological and biblical anxiety. Holley discusses three ways to make our anxiety an ally, not our enemy. Anxiety does not have to control us nor consume our everyday life. We can look at our anxiety in a new way with strength and walk with Jesus in that journey.

Jillian Benfield is a former TV journalist turned wife, mom of three and now author. Jillian and her husband got the surprise of her lives in 2014 when they found out their unborn son would be born with an intellectual disability. Her upcoming debut book (releasing with Bethany house in January 2023) is about how the unexpected things that happen to us can help us become who we are meant to be.
In this session, Jillian shares her heart and testimony through the hardships in her own life. She shares a new perspective on overcoming and undergoing. The world strives to overcome and Jillian shares that we can change that narrative by our perspective. When we undergo, we can experience a transforming hope only found in Christ. Your circumstances that are adding to your stress may not change right now, but this time offers us an opportunity to commune with the God that wept with us and for us, to become more empathetic than we once were, to become stronger and also softer, too. But only if we resist overcoming our circumstances and undergo them instead.

Evan and Jenny met in music school at Belmont University where talented beatboxer, Evan quickly, and correctly, pegged Jenny as a teacher's pet. Nine years later, newly married and working in their first careers - Evan in technology and Jenny as a civilian Occupational Therapist for the Army - they saw a gap in spiritual care for combat veterans. Together, they founded REBOOT Recovery, a global nonprofit that helps people of all backgrounds overcome trauma and embrace a brighter future. REBOOT courses are led by everyday people and offered in hundreds of locations around the world. Evan and Jenny have managed to work together for over ten years without killing each other thanks to frequent date nights, The Office reruns and dreaming about their favorite place on earth, Jekyll Island, GA. They have three blonde boys (sorry, Evan) and live outside Nashville, TN.
In this session, Evan shares about Feeling It All Without Falling Apart - managing strong emotions when we are overwhelmed. If we do not acknowledge our emotions, we cannot deal with them and if we do not deal with them, we cannot heal from them. All emotions are a gift from God for us to process what we have experienced. Feeling our emotions won't kill us, but ignoring them will and just because emotions are uncontrollable, doesn't mean that they are unmanageable. There is hope when it comes to feeling and healing.

Ann Swindell is the author of The Path to Peace: Experiencing God’s Comfort When You are Overwhelmed (Bethany House). She is the owner of Writing with Grace and lives in West Michigan with her pastor husband and their two kids. You can connect with her online at AnnSwindell.com.
In this session, Ann talks about finding peace when we are overwhelmed. We can walk in more freedom and less anxiety as we experience Christ's comfort in our stress. We can't know the peace of God until we know and understand peace with God. When we experience true peace, our soul is at rest. It is not easy to experience peace each day and so we need to be intentional to practice it each day. It is a daily act that we can experience and apply to our lives. Peace is a person and peace comes from the person of Jesus.

Healing and freedom do not happen in the darkness of shame. We will find greater support when we walk in the light of freedom and healing. Our experiences and feelings are valid even if someone else does not affirm or validate them. We can go to God, who knows, understands, and loves us through any anxiety.
